Last Day of School

The last day of school. I can't believe how much they have all grown. Kristina finished 6th, Luba 3rd, and Michael 2nd. I was able to be there for the end of the year awards ceremony. All three kids got perfect attendance!! We are all anxious for the summer to begin and look forward to vacations.

After the ceremonies I had to leave to go to the hospital since mom was having surgery for breast CA and a reduction. The surgery went very well and mom is very pleased with everything. Still waiting to hear about the need for chemo or radiation.

Busch Gardens

Today we went to Busch Gardens. We bought the Fun Passes again this year. It is so nice to be able to go up and not have to try to do everything in one day. We can relax and do what we want knowing we will be back in the near future. Of course the kids always want to go on 'their' certain rides and don't like to have to wait in line for very long. Today the weather was nice, not too hot and there weren't that many people considering it is Memorial Day weekend.

Everyone was tired by the end of the day and the kids slept on the way home.

John and Michael's Birthday

Today we celebrated John's 49th birthday and Michael's 8th birthday. During the day we stayed around the house just relaxing. For dinner the family went to Longhorn Steakhouse. Afterwards we came home to celebrate the two birthday's.

John loved his cold stone cake.

Michael loved his Star Wars cake.

We also opened a Wii fit from my parents, Allison and Brian. As a family gift we had gotten a Wii earlier in the month and have realized how fun they can be. The Fit will be very helpful with exercising.

National's Game on the Fourth of July

This morning we got on the Metro and headed into DC. The National's are playing the Mets.

A beautiful day for baseball, although it was hot until we were in the shade. The girls said it was the hottest game they had ever been too.

Don't fall Michael.
